‘Palm sunday’ was only a few days ago
– ‘Rocks cry out’ = rocks split open at jesus death

God is eternal beyond all time and space

Group of women following jesus
– Thru out ministry
– Ministered to jesus
– while apostles fled, they did not

Broken legs
– Speed up death on cross
– Jewish leaders wanted bodies down to keep sabbath / law but broke many other laws to crucify jesus
– Jesus died of his own will. No need to break legs

Joseph
– Member of sanhedrin but didnt agree w/ trial arrest etc
– Disciple of jesus
– risked position etc by asking for body etc

Great love to remove from body

New tomb
– Son of man has no place to lay his head
– Colt n tomb never been used b4

What does it mean today

Women ‘ministered’ to christ
– Same OT work of priests
– We need to pray n praise to him
– Practice what he has told us to do

Everything God has said will happen did and will happen
– Small details and Salvation

God has People in places that are unlikely but he setup
– Our community is full of ppl that we dont except to become christian, but we are called to evangelize to all

Followers still obedient to gods law even tho difficult circumstances
– Blessing from obeying law

Crucified dead and buried for us
– Many details on jesus death n burial
– We can be confident in jesus paid our debt
