Satan trying to separate and get disciples to run away

But Jesus has prayed for you
– Faith will not fail
– ‘have turned again’ – knew peter would deny, but come back
– strengthen your brothers
– Faith is from Jesus

1 – we must turn and turn over again

turning away from sin and turning towards jesus

we all sin and deny jesus – but there is no condemnation for those in christ jesus

2 – we are not the best judges of our behavior n capability

dont think too highly of ourselves

must be christ that lives in us

psalm 3:5

3 – jesus praying

praying to God that we will be kept

hebrews 7:25 – Jesus is making intercession for us

1 john 2:1 – our advocate
