For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased…
If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me
And he went into all the region around the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?
But who do you say that I am? . . . “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man
